“Love and marriage go together like a horse and carriage,” sings Frank Sinatra in the song that hit the charts in 1956. “This I tell ya, brother, you can’t have one without the other.”

Well times have changed. Marriage is not the institute it used to be. Updated lyrics for 2018 would be more appropriate to our times if he substituted the word marriage for health, because you can’t have one without the other.

A loving relationship is good for your mental, spiritual and physical health. And when you engage in a healthy lifestyle you are more likely to find and enjoy a fulfilling loving relationship.

Married people have longer life spans. When we are connected with others we are calmer and happier.
