Family Fun and Film at Cedar Community Hall, Cedar
Saturday, February 15, 2020 @ 2:00 pm
What do you do in the cold, wet weather? Some people fly off to Hawaii. And the rest of us? Why, we go to Cedar Community Hall and imagine we’re on a Polynesian island.
Join other families with young children and come to the first afternoon of the Fun and Film series on Saturday, February 15, at 2 pm. For a nominal charge, children can participate in a hands-on activity and then enjoy a feature film while munching popcorn.
Accompanying adults can sit with them or hang out in an adjoining room and visit over coffee and tea. It’s a great way to connect with other families in the area and to have fun together.
The first film is Moana, the 2016 Walt Disney animated musical. Before it begins, kids will have time to craft paper airplanes and practice flying in preparation for their trip to Polynesia.
Doors open at 2 pm at Cedar Community Hall, 2388 Cedar Road. Kids, $2 each. Accompanying adults, free. Popcorn, $.25/bag. All children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call 250-245-7516.
