Sailpast Saturday, May 7 the Ladysmith Yacht Club is celebrating their Opening Day & Sailpast, a tradition that began nearly 200 years ago. Everyone is invited to this FREE event at Transfer Beach Park to watch the parade of boats from the shoreline starting at 1:15 pm while enjoying bagpiper music and 4 face painting stations. Red Dress Day May 5 is national Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous women and girls. Watch for local initiatives in the community and remember to hang your red dress as a sign of solidarity.

HomeTown Tourist Weekend

The annual HomeTown Tourist Weekend is back on June 18 &19. Your business can participate for free; hold a sale, create a special or host an event for Father’s Day weekend and we will promote it under this campaign. While you do not have to advertise in TAKE 5 to participate, we have excellent rates on display ads, plus your business will be included in the 2022 HomeTown Tourist video, produced by TAKE 5.
