July 2022

Where to start? There is so much going on in July – well heck it feels like that wonderful time before that “C” word came into being.
Along with anniversary parties, and car shows (Brits on the Beach), there is a plethora of music events that kicks off the month starting with Cowichan Reggae Society’s One Love Festival Canada, continuing with the return of Vancouver Island’s longest-running festival, Islands Folk Festival, and ends with Ladysmith Days’ three bands act. And in between, we have the return of Concerts in the Park at Transfer Beach and so much more that we don’t have room for in this short message but you will find details inside the July issue.

A great big Thank You to those who came out to join us in celebrating 25 years of independent publishing. We had a great turn out! Jette, Glen and Randy played to an appreciative audience, and in between tours of the Ladysmith Museum and chatting with friends it was a fun afternoon. An extra big Thank You to all the people who helped make it memorable – in particular our Elly!
