"Marina Sacht and the TAKE 5 team created a series of ten documentary videos for the Ladysmith Maritime Society. The videos outline the history of the society’s collection of restored wooden vessels, showcasing their importance to British Columbia maritime heritage. Marina interviewed the boat stewards, previous owners, and operators of the vessels and brought out personal stories which are as important as the vessels themselves. The TAKE 5 staff created heartwarming and factual documentary videos that I attribute to their genuine interest. The videos were created over a short time frame and released in time for the virtual component of our Heritage Boat Festival in 2021. Viewers have enjoyed thousands of views on You Tube and the series received the Ladysmith Heritage Award for Cultural Awareness in 2022."
